Pack light, ski happy — a few space-saving tips
- Put the bulkiest/weighty items (outerwear, tools) in the board bag; soft goods fill dead space around bindings.
- In your carry-on: 1 full ski outfit (base top/bottom, socks, gloves, goggles, beanie) + transceiver + essentials + 1/2 days casual clothes. If a bag is delayed, you can still ski.
- Roll clothes, use a packing cube for “town clothes” and one for “ski layers.”
- Stuff socks/liners inside boots; use lens case for goggles.
- Merino layers dry overnight—re-wear to keep counts low; rotate socks/base layers
- Keep knives/multi-tools in the checked bag; batteries and power banks in the carry-on.
